Khadija-tul-Kubra foundation starts construction of 21 houses in District Tando Allah yar for flood victims

DSCI0014Khadija-tul-Kubra Foundation (Khadija) has started the reconstruction of rain-damaged houses in Sindh province.

The reconstruction work on 21 dilapidated houses has been s started at Goth Saeed Khan Leghari in taluka Chambar of District Tando Allah Yar. Twenty one (21) of the 220 houses of the Goth were severely damaged in the 2o11 heavy rainfall. Twenty one families were affected and they needed support for


Khadija-tul-Kubra Foundation (Khadija) started reconstruction work on those 21 houses on December 21, 2011 and repairing of Central Imam Bargah of the village.

A spokesman for the “Khadija-tul-Kubra” Mr Iqtedar Reza said that they would hand over the reconstructed houses to their owning families by mid-January (2012).

More than 21 houses at Goth Saeed Khan Leghari in Taluka Chambar of District Tando Allah Yar have completely destroyed in the rain and flood damages and the poor people of the area are living in the open air because of the unavailability of the funds and government support.

He announced that the foundation has planned to construct the 200 houses for the victims of heavy rain and flood disaster in Interior Sindh saying that the construction of all the housing project will be completed at the first quarter of 2012.

He underlined the need of financial cooperation of the well-off people and urged the philanthropists to come forward in this noble cause to reconstruct the dilapidated houses of poor people of Sindh.

He requested the philanthropists to come forward and generously donate the funds and donation on the account of Khadija-tul-Kubra foundation to continue the rehabilitation work of victims of flood disaster.
