He said in a statement from MWM’s head office in Islamabad that the conference would be held to chalk out a course of action against the targeted killing of Shia Muslims in Pakistan.
On the other hand, spokesman for the MWM, Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that All Shia Parties Conference would be a right step in the right direction because a united stance of the Shiites would be garnered through the conference.
He said that unity of Shiites was dire need of the hours. He said that the conference is a protest against the silence of the relevant institutions and individuals of the state of Pakistan on genocide of Shia Muslims. He said that the government and other institutions have taken no action against the culprits of Babusar Tragedy, targeted killings of Shia Muslims in Quetta, Karachi and elsewhere throughout the country.
